Body Mind Nest Soul

Are you Beloved… or just Busy?

Never mistake church-related activity and “busy-ness” with an actual relationship with the Creator of the universe. No matter what you have been told, they are not the same thing.

Your enemy loves it when you stay so distracted with holy-looking behavior that you have no time to spend alone with God. Some leaders will gladly help your enemy by keeping you very, very busy without regard for your spiritual well-being… or worse, you may BE that leader.

Before you know it, your whole life has passed and you have done some wonderful things in the name of the church, but when you meet Jesus face to face in the end… will He know you?

Intimately?

The way you recognize your spouse instantly in a room of a thousand people?

That’s what Jesus was after when He said…

“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?” Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” ~ Matthew 7: 15-23

Slow down and talk to Him today. He misses you and longs to hang out with you.

Of all the vast expanse of the universe, it’s YOUR heart He’s most interested in.
